Fully separate from the rest of the house. The historic charm of this entire home will WOW you if you appreciate historic preservation and old world craftmanship that simply cannot be matched. (I geek out!) I've done my best to keep many of the characteristics in place, which also making it modern, comfortable, stylish .... and oh so lovely. (I think I've hit the nail on the head). Walk right out to your own parking and patio and huge, old growth oak trees and a bamboo forest. You'll forget you're right on 7th street. It's pretty remarkable. It is a studio, open floor plan apartment of sorts. There are 2 locked doors connecting to the crawl space and a utility room that will be kept locked and you have the rest as yours. Like any basement, there might be some ambient noise from upstairs -- this is called "basement charm" in my books. You have your own TV, Wifi and are fully independent so I hope you lean in and enjoy this type of living space which is so common in cities ... not so much in Columbus :) (which is why I love it so much.) Hotel style towels. Top of line kitchen devices, bedding, etc... I know you'll be comfortable and happy. This is Non Smoking!
