We are looking for a responsible, respectful tenant to rent the private lower level of our waterfront home on the north end of Vashon Island. The house is a 10 minute drive to the walk on water taxi which takes you straight to Pier 50 downtown and lets you off about 1.4 miles from the U.S. Coast Guard Base at Pier 36. My teenage daughter and I live upstairs and there are essentially no shared indoor spaces except the yard and beach. The house is split level and the lower level functions as its own private living space and includes: - 2 bedrooms (The larger room has a bonus game room/ TV room) - Bathroom with large walk in tiled shower - Living room with beautiful water views and wood burning stove - Kitchenette with compact refrigerator, countertop convection oven/ air fryer, water boiler, counter top griddle, microwave, plug in hot plates ( No dishwasher or range ) - Private washer and dryer - Two private entrances - Driveway parking - Use of paddle board and sea kayak - Large unfenced but private yard Vashon offers a peaceful, rural Pacific Northwest lifestyle while remaining connected to the Seattle / Tacoma area by ferry which is one of many reasons I love it. I am a single mom and small business owner and I have a massage therapy and acupuncture practice in town. My daughter is 14 and splits time between my place and her Dad's in West Seattle. I appreciate good communication and would love to have someone downstairs who appreciates this lovely balance of privacy and friendliness.
