One of the best things about Hawaii is that our weather allows for all year indoor/outdoor living and this house is set up to maximize that lifestyle. This is a well maintained and gated property with lots of windows and outdoor space, but part of living in a house in Hawaii, as opposed to a condo or hotel, means you will experience the occasional bug and geckos. The great news is that they are all harmless and our day geckos can be quite charming as well. Our convenient, walkable location means we do get noise from traffic passing by during the day, as well as some noise from the neighboring unit. It's not excessively loud but you will hear cars and children playing. If silent living is what you are after this property is likely not for you. Hawaii is know for it's cool trade winds and evening rains thus like most homes we do not have central air. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and a window AC in bedroom #2 in case you need to sleep during the day when it's a little hotter. Although this home offers a very comfortable island retreat, our guess is that you will end up spending most of your time out and about enjoying all this island has to offer!
