Its awesome for X country skiing, biking, photography, bird watching etc..... The Chugiak Highschool pool is within easy walking distance, and the dog mushers club is pretty darn close! Bike trails will take you all the way to Anchorage if you are a hearty soul! Features include one bedroom, one bath, and a large kitchen. It is not fancy or new, but it is clean, spacious, and has new LED lighting throughout. There are wood floors in the living room. Cool old Alaskan antiques and artwork decorate it. It makes a great home for one or two mellow, outdoorsy, nature loving individuals. This is a bottom apartment in a truly unique old Alaskan home. If the "Alaska" experience is what you are after, this is a good starting point. You will find kicksleds in the front yard, antlers on the walls, and landlords willing to point you in the direction of some great close by adventures!
