NOTE: This rental will be available after Feb. 19, 2022.
Long-term rental. 900 square foot, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home in downtown Bremerton. On the bus line, within walking distance (10-15 minutes) to ferry, downtown, shipyard, and Olympic College.
House is a duplex, with a basement apartment that is currently occupied. PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER THE TENANT.
Upfront, going to be honest - Everyone agrees it's a super cute place, but the bedrooms are VERY small. About 9' by 10' in size. Can fit a Queen size bed and a dresser in one room and that's it. Everyone loves the house when they walk in, but their enthusiasm deflates quickly when they see the bedrooms. SO, to save BOTH of us time, I'm just putting this out there for your consideration.
Features:
Freshly painted walls, hardwood floors and tile.
Gas stove and furnace with a Nest temperature control
Dishwasher
Granite countertops in kitchen with new wood trim
Cute nook for meals and storage in kitchen
Large windows for fantastic light year round
Partially fenced-in quaint cottage backyard garden shared with other tenant, but spacious seating areas for all
Laundry on site, shared with other tenant
Rent: $1,600 / month
Deposit: $800
Prefer no pets but subject to approval
Credit score: 650 or better
Credit/Criminal/Background check required: $40

Protect Yourself
To ensure your online rental search is a positive experience, be sure to follow a few basic
guidelines:
Avoid unusual forms of payment. Never wire funds via Western Union, Moneygram,
or any other wire service. Wiring money is the same as sending cash - once you
send it, you have no way to get it back.
Don't send money to someone you've never met in person for an apartment
you haven't seen. If you can't visit an apartment or house yourself, ask
someone you trust to go and confirm that it's for rent. In addition to setting
up a meeting, do a search on the landlord and listing. If you find the same ad
listed under a different name, that's a clue it may be a scam.
Never provide your financial information (bank account number, social security number,
credit card number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.).
Call the property manager / landlord owner and ask questions regarding the property
such as how long they have owned it, recent maintenance, and request references from
previous tenants. You should request a rental agreement or a printed list for your
obligations as a renter and review carefully.
